Our cooking class is led by the official Pitmasters of Dixie Rose BBQ who have honed their skills over years of hands-on experience. You'll be learning from Pit Maters with a passion for barbecue and smoking eager to share their wealth of knowledge and insider tips.
Our class offers a hands-on cooking experience designed to build your skills & confidence at the smoker as you learn the process of smoking a brisket from start to finish. You'll gain a deeper understanding of wood selection, tending fires, smoking techniques while also sharpening your meat trimming abilities.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced cook, this course will give you the knowledge and skills to start smoking like a Pit Master- or to take your existing knowledge to the next level.
This class will provide you with your very own brisket to take home along with all the essential tools and seasonings needed during the process. You may bring your own desired seasoning along with your favorite tools to elevate your cooking experience.
Our class is not just about cooking, it's also about having fun. You'll meet other foodies who share your passion for cooking while enjoying Dixie Rose's Famous Pulled Pork Sandwiches & Crispy Tater Tots paired with a choice of Local Craft Beer or refreshing Pop.
